I'm going to gamble on clue 1 and assume that "AC electric" encompasses "dual-voltage" - my guess is St Denys.

a) this station is near to a ruined castle
b) the nearest Wetherspoons is called "The Crown" and often features beer from the Red Squirrel Brewery
