Clue 2: This station is fortunate enough to have more than one platform

Not quite.

Clue 1: This station is west of Southwick
Clue 2: This station is fortunate enough to have more than one platform
Clue 3: This station is managed by Northern Rail
Clue 4: This station was formerly a junction with another line. It now serves no such purpose.

Clue 5: One of the platforms at this station displays a sign reading 'This platform for trains to X and Y'. However, no trains from that platform serve X, nor indeed do they continue to Y. In fact, all passenger services that call at that platform terminate there.

Incorrect! :(

The station was Chathill, which was formerly the junction for a branch to Seahouses. All passenger services calling at Platform 2 terminate there, but the platform still displays a sign reading 'This platform for Berwick and the North'.
