Clue 4:
The vast majority of services at this station are provided by modern plastic DMUs. However, a small proportion are provided by BR era units.

I think at Bishopbriggs (158s over 170s) more than a small proportion of services are provided by BR era units.
What proportion of services at Elmswell are provided by sprinters and by 170s?

I suppose my term 'modern plastic units' was very loose, and does at least cover 158s.

Clue 5:
If posting only this station's name, you will receive an error as it contains less than the minimum 5 characters required for a forum post.

What are your BR era DMUs? I think the only DMUs are those used on the Ashford-Hastings, which are post-privatisation.

Correct, the BR era units being 150s.

Trainfan344, in what way are you referring to BR going defunct in 2000. The BRB is still going strong (mainly with regard a variety of BR trademarks and property management), all operations as far as I know were either franchised out or sold by then.
