Clue 2) This station has service by at least one TOC that does not serve London. It also has service by at least one TOC that does serve London.

AC electrified with a multiple TOCs, one of which serves London but doesn't necessarily offer a direct service from this station.

I'm going to say Alsager.

Clue 4) Of the four TOCs that serve this station, two of them serve London direct from this station, although infrequently. Both of these run other services from this station that do not serve London.
One of the other two runs services calling at this station only once daily.

Sounds a lot like Birmingham New Street.

Before even considering the amendment I made to clue 4, you can hardly consider VT and LM services to London Euston infrequent.

Likewise, I don't know any TOC at BHM that does not serve London, and provides just one train per day.
