A very misleading part of a clue that was, seeing as Virgin does not serve Stonehaven

I forgot Arriva owned Cross Country, hence I said Haymarket

I am not concerned at the validity of any of the clues, they were all correct. However, I wonder how many stations were remaining. I think a lot of stations between Edinburgh and Aberdeen/Inverness would be valid.

Nothing on Inverness would have been valid, because of clue 4.

The following stations on Aberdeen line were valid; Stonehaven, Montrose, Arbroath, and Leuchars

Thinking about it, the HML is only served by one bus company, so it is only the non-Dundee intermediates between Abedeen and Edinburgh exclusive at which the sleeper and at least one East Coast service call.

If it is only 4 then that is fair enough. I'm surprised there aren't any south of Leuchars, I was thinking Kirkcaldy and Inverkeithing at least.

My clue 5 referenced the Breakfast service, this is only offered on the 7:52 from Aberdeen, for passengers joining the service between Aberdeen and Leuchars.

Ah, I see. I'm not a expert on first class breakfast provision, I presumed it would be offered as far as the catering crew change at either Edinburgh or the Toon.

A very clever clue, in any case. Certainly thought provoking, which is what I like to see.
