Don't really see how's it a dud myself. Sure, it's not the easiest to understand, but it is factually correct. Besides, I'm not in favour of penalising Turn Players after their station has been guessed correctly...

Duff? Sorry - I disagree. Complicated, maybe.

There are three capital cities in Great Britain. To get to one of them, you can head either way and change once. To get to another one, you change twice. And for the third, it is once in one direction, and twice in the other.

From Rochdale, you can change at Salford Crescent to the west and Leeds to the east. From those locations:

Edinburgh is available as a direct destination.
Cardiff requires one further change.
London is directly accessible from Leeds, but not from Salford Crescent which requires one further change.

I think this is the clue sonic2009 was complaining about, after seeing the correct answer I understood the clue, but was a bit confused at time, as Ivo said it was a complicated clue, maybe (IMO) a bit too complicated for clue 4.

I'm going for a punt at Downham Market. It was opened as Downham, is clearly AC electrified, has a limited service to London Liverpool St (clue 4 does not state that it can't have a freqeuent service to another London Terminal and has 2 platforms.
