Clue 3: Only a total of 5 scheduled passenger services pass through this station without stopping.

That's a nasty (and thus good) clue. I couldn't reasonably penalise someone if they came up with somewhere that has something like seven non-stopping services! Guys, so long as your guesses are sensible, you can post without fear of penalties :)

I shall try to update scoring tomorrow.

You don't. Nothing wrong with a clarification; the clue was technically accurate (we assume :lol:).

Am I allowed to argue with that - without being told a time period, we could be dealing with an hour, a day, a week or even all time, and therefore the clue had no meaning.

You can argue, of course, but as long as the clue wasn't inaccurate (as opposed to simply missing one important piece of information) then I don't see why a penalty would be reasonable. The same would apply to any other such situation. But if the actual number involved is not five, then I would have an altogether different stance, because the clue would be incorrect.
