Sorry about the delay - had to call University Security because the people above were playing music at a level so loud I couldn't concentrate on my assignments (only managed 1,000 out of 3,500 so far, that's how bad it's been...) <(

Clue 3: This station is staffed at least part-time

That removes the Thames Valles as a possibility then. I think it is time for the National Rail station information. Barnstaple has a booking office. I presume 150s get there still, so I'll give it a go.

150s certainly can go to Barnstaple. The Devon Bash meet on January 29th had a 150 from Exeter to Newton St Cyres, bound for BNP.

Clue 5: This station has a feature that usually graces stations far, far larger than itself

Newquay with the big concourse behind the buffer stops. There is only one platform still in use, and it sort of has a part time booking office (National Rail reckons it only opens in summer).

Plenty of stations of a fairly similar size to Newquay have concourses like that! What they don't usually have however is a roof, as is true at Frome.

If anyone feels the clues were harsh, which I hope you don't, please post your feelings! Otherwise, on with the next game.

Clue 1: My name begins with a letter that be inverted in its small-case form in one direction to at least roughly form another (e.g. b > d, m > w)

I only read about Frome just last night :( none of those clues sprung to mind to make me think that.

Clue 3: This station is in a town (note it says town specifically, so don't say one of the Portsmouth stations!) of more than one station
