Neither.

Clue 4:This station is served by Class 158's, AND Class 159's (159's being quite thin on the ground)

Cheers for that Scott. I'm a little like Alan Davies it would seem.

Am I right in thinking that as it is more that 12 hours since the last clue was posted it is back to open floor?

That is correct. However, that may be a little harsh because gnolife has been on today and there were no responses for the first 11 hours of game play.

I feel a revision may be required. I shall change that rule to something like "no responses from the clue setter with three hours of the first response, except between the hours of 2300 and 0700 where the deadline is 1000". Any comments?

Analysis will be up before 1800.

I seem to have misinterpreted the rules as 12 hrs from valid response, hence me waiting for an answer.

If people dont mind, then clue 3 is; it is served by 2 classes of Alstom train.

Analysis:

Ivo Two duplicate answers aside he has made just one error to date. He is also one of two to have recorded a perfect score of 15, and has also won his own round on three separate occasions.
Robinson Similar to Ivo in performance for the most part. Has also had two duplicate response penalties (both in Round 31) and has also won three of his own rounds. He has also recorded the joint-highest number of wins (six) - but most of these have been low-scoring.
gnolife The only player to have successfully defended his turn more than once in succession. Otherwise, a fairly standard performance from gnolife - he is however the player to have had the most erroneous responses without recording any other kind of penalty.
Temple Meads Tim is 4th after one lucky result! He is one of two players to have managed a perfect 15; without this, he would have been joint-last. He has however had the fewest penalties of all the players to have actually had any penalties.
andrew bell Andrew has had the most points from successful guesses (26) and the joint highest number of wins (six) - but has also had the most penalties (15). A very up-down performance that sees a top-half performance to date.
Clip No specific analysis available.
gg1 No specific analysis available.
class57basher No specific analysis available.
Welshman No specific analysis available.
dzug2 The game's newest player, he has made some progress early on but has also shown a slight difficulty with the penalty system.
martinsh A somewhat disappointing result, but this is partly down to poor timing, having been hit for a penalty due to a late response on several occasions. Has not won any of the last 30 rounds.
clagmonster A very disappointing result. He has won more rounds than Ivo (scoring 10 points on one of those), but is also the only player to have had three different kinds of penalties - and two simultaneous penalties (in Round 34).

No, it's OK. Comments will be accepted on my proposed change until 1900 hours, at which point the change will be made unless there are any objections.

--------------

I would like to make one request though:

Please ensure you provide the Clue Number for every clue set! This is for sake of clarity and also making administering the game easier...

Alsom units currently operating on BR are:
175, 180, 334, 390, 458
Of these, the only ones which appear at ATW served stations are I think 175s and 390s. Based on that, I am going for Crewe, which I presume is in the Cheshire Day Ranger area.

I believe I also have the full house of points deduction reasons so far 'awarded', together with the only post to have two points deductions. The only way is up, or being cut further adrift.

The latter is sadly true - but there are five different penalties, and you have only had three as indicated in the post (I shall amend the analysis accordingly). no-one has yet had A (Consecutive sets of harsh rules) or E (Editing response) - the two most serious infractions.

It is not Crewe. Or Stockport
This station acts as a terminus for Arriva Trains Wales. In fact, Arriva are the only TOC to terminate trains at a particular platform at this station in off-peak hours (10:00 - 16:00) (4)

Assuming this doesn't fall foul of the platforms problem, and that 175s do make it here, Birmingham International?

Manchester Piccadilly. I am risking a points deduction here, as I am hoping that no TPE or Northern services terminate at platform 13 in said hours.

Clagmonster has it right.
The platform part of the clue referred to the ATW arrivals from Llandudno on platform 13.
