I had serious misgivings about this movie when I saw the first trailer. It looked awful, and a pale imitation of the originals with Leslie Neilson.

I was lucky enough to attend the premier last night in Leicester Square, and actually it was really good - a lot better than I thought would be. Some good lol moments, with lots of crude schoolboy humour in the spirit of the original. The time went by really quickly.

We even got a short q&a with Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson and Erica Huggins before it started.

I’m pleased to hear that and I hope it does well. My concern is that the push on social media means that all main jokes have already been shown.

It isn’t long as a movie at 85 minutes but the previous ones are the same length.

I have all the Police Squad and Naked Gun on DVD. I`m always sceptical about new versions of old shows/films with new actors as i`ve long thought that Hollywood has run out of new ideas. Does this film have an original storyline?

There's plenty of great jokes that aren't in the trailer. It very much follows the trend of the previous films re style of jokes - it's not for nothing that this movie is a 15 certificate.

Yes. It's not that brilliant of a storyline tbh. The main focus here is the humour.
