The Jacobite: K4 takes over

The K1 loco 62005 that shares the Jacobite with the Black Fives has failed recently with pin holes in a flue tube and been taken off; K4 The Great Marquess has now gone up there and is running it today.

Then tomorrow it's due to be 45231 for a week, then the K4 again.

Black Five 45407 goes up on 9th Aug and takes over on 11th.

They've really had problems with the K1 this year ...

I am up there on a railtour on October 2nd, Jacobite are running a special service for our tour party, Any ideas whats likely to be on this? I shouldn't think they will be bringing anything special in for it, so one of their regular fleet?

Yes, 45407 and 45231 are due to stay now the K1 is out, so likely to be one of them.
