I received my successful medical results email on 20 November 2015. I thought I was alone in this world of waiting, but am a little concerned with the amount of people stuck here with me.

I emailed my HR contact on 8 December 2015 and never received a response.

I thought I would "join up" as this seems like the sort of support group I was looking for.

Being realistic if we haven't heard anything by the end of next week a Feb course isn't happening

Like I said a few pages back, after speaking to friend on New years eve who is going from a current GTR driver to Instructor this month, he's confirmed there are around 14 Instructors in training and once there all done in a few weeks they will be available for courses hopefully.

Hi everyone, I have applied for the Three Bridges trainee positions back in August and have passed both my first stage, second stage and MMI back in October. I seem tobe getting no where when trying to get a date from HR for a DM interview, being told it'll be next week and when I call the lady hasn't even seemed to have made enquires regarding this.

I was just wondering if there was anyone who had applied and passed assesments at a similar time or that was in a similar position?

From reading this I understand there is a re-occurring theme with HR, but just wanted to see if anyone was in a similar situation or had managed to get any success with HR.

I applied for Three Bridges in Aug too. Had my DM interview in October, and my medical a week or so after. Just waiting for a start date.

I also rang Trudy this morning, they dont have any course dates at the moment.

There are no Bedford courses planned for the time being - I asked the other day.

There are some GN courses starting shortly, but not Bedford unfortunately.

How about blackfriars? Did everything including medical last midlast year times...All now nothing...also I never read anyone in this post talking about black friars...can all the black friars applicants make yourself known...

I'm the same as both of you, applied in August and what not. Had my first day on the job today so hopefully it won't be long before you two are told what you're doing.

You would be better off trying to get hold of the recruitment team as they deal with everything that you have mentioned

Just they will be in contact when courses become available same old stuff in really disappointed I was under the impression this was going to be quite a quick turn around the impression I initially got. I know I'm ok medical wise for the job but why should I need to retake my medical. I really want this career but starting to feel like I'm being messed around a lot now I wish I took the Cambridge position when they offered it to me but was only given 12 days notice for that so I had to decline then nothing since

I have a lady called Trudy. Has anyone delt with anyone else from recruitment that has been helpful? I know lindsey is off on maternity and there's been a shake up but gettingno where with Trudy since October.

I've been in contact with Trudy and she recently sorted out my DMI and MMI fairly quickly, I think they have a plan with moving people through the stages. I applied for Cambridge though, last correspondence was yesterday when she told me I will be progressed to medical when she gets a course date for me.

It's pretty obvious with all these posts that it's business as usual and they are still at full capacity for training, I'm sure we will all filter through over this coming year.

Supposed it depends who you talk to. Just before xmas a current depot driver told me that hes expecting Bedford courses early 2016

Whats good about this forum, is, if anybodys got info, that can share it on here and give hope to those waiting anxiously

Whats bad about it is, sometimes opinion gets passed off as fact.

Someone posted a few weeks ago, all recruitment has been frozen and no more courses at all. Yet someone else says 10-14 new DI's have been recruited and more courses will be imminent.
