Im working additonal shuttles to Twickenham for the Rugby and working trains through Twickenham tomorrow too.... Whats friday again?

There is a course starting monday another one a week later plus one oct 12th so reckon might not hear for a while as that is a lot of courses already starting

I think bedford is overdue, and with the new trains and new services for this side of the mainline, along with driver shortages... Bedford imo is due!

I'd be happy with just knowing a date so I can plan my life a bit better right now I can't plan anything too far in advance not knowing if we are going to get a call up.

Same here. Can I book a holiday? Na. Can I really plan whether or not to go and pick up some short contract work? Again, na. Just give me a date and I'll know where to allocate some money!

Feel everyone's pain in this thread. I start on Monday and just wondered if any fellow new starters who are already training could answer if on your first few days they give you a years training roster with holidays etc!? Also anyone at King's cross now the shift pattern for when your qualified? Thanks so much in advance

Where is your Depot, Skip? KX? I'm glad you got on that course - apparently they filled it up a day before my medical results came down 3 days late

Absolute Radio travel update just said Thameslink services between Bedford & Brighton and Luton & Sutton disrupted due to driver shortages

If they gloss over the proposed King's Cross recruitment and go to Brighton or some other Thameslink depot I have to admit I will be really miffed. What is wrong with an October or November course for us?! </3

Regarding all those of us that have had medicals and are now just waiting, do you reckon they've chased up references from those we provided yet?

Hope not. My boss at my current job is a reference. Would be a touch uncomfortable if he got an email prior to me saying anything. I dont think they will contact references until after the formal job offer.

That's interesting, could well be after they get the signed contracts back but I would have thought it's too late by then
