Anyone know why this tour has been cancelled for the 17th? Pathfinders have promised a letter but as usual nothing has come. I have just come back from the Middle East for some leave and was looking forward to this trip.

There seem to be other cancellations during May. Whats wrong? surely some decent planning and organisation could possibly avoid all the disappointments.

How can you plan against vandalism of stock at the depot?

The tour was cancelled because the stock was vandilized by moronic copper thieves!

Alternative stock was looked at but none was available for the tour date so they had to canx it, incidently loadings were good.

A date has been given for the tour to run: SATURDAY 23RD AUGUST 2008

The Western tour to weymouth has also been canx due to lack of bookings not by cranks but by the 'normals' shame was looking forward to it

Indeed it's a very sad world we live in. Mindless b******s who ruin things for the majority. It would have been a good tour as well.

Tried to book on the Eden flyer this Saturday but that's now cancelled because of operational reasons - Network rail again!! The Cumbrain Mountain Express also cancelled for the 24th. I have never seen so many changes in such a short time

Tried to book on the Eden flyer this Saturday but that's now cancelled because of operational reasons - Network rail again!!

Apparently this was cancelled to low bookings as well, nothing to do with N/R - they even produced a notice for it!
