All four videos are worth a watch, but the first, with the FGW staff doing the honours, is ace.

We had a beautiful pasty from a bakery in Penzance last year. Piping hot, and like a three course dinner in pastry! I'm afraid the pasties from Spar didn;t look quite so appealing...

Very good. Hope the staff don't get disciplined for taking gratuities off passengers!

Did something similar once; back in 2004 we were travelling to Maidstone when we discovered upon leaving Victoria, that our thermos flask, containing the hot water to warm up the baby milk bottle with had broken - and little one was starting to stir with a feed due!

Texted a friend who works for South Eastern with what had happened and which train we were on.

Three stops later, a member of station staff handed over to us a flask full of hot water, just in time to avert some loud squalling from a hungry baby.:)

We returned the flask by handing it in, as arranged, at Maidstone East to be sent back on the next train.

I suspect he knows all the staff there judging by the amunt of time he spends there! ;) Mind you, someone said to me once that he reckoned when I was younger I used to spend more time on York station than the station porters!
