The rebooted series of the Grand Tour features one of the epic races Top Gear occasionally featured - a car against something that's not a car. If posters haven't already seen it, I'd recommend heading over to Amazon Prime and going to Episode 5 for a surprise or two.

I am not really a fan of Francis Bourgeois' videos - I find him somewhat excitable and irritating. However, my older son was a fan of The Grand Tour with the previous team and only this afternoon was waxing lyrical about the new series so tonight we started by watching Ep 1 of the new series. Overall, I agreed with his assessment, not a bad start and Francis was a little more restrained; we will probably watch more of the series as, I am told, it does improve.

Yes, Amazon Prime. I usually use the free 30 day trial Amazon offer you then cancel it just before it expires and starts charging, then around a year later they usually offer you another 30 day free trial. I’m currently using this year’s to have a look at the new Grand Tour lineup, and catch up on episodes of Clarkson’s Farm that have been released since last year’s free trial. Although I think you can also just pay monthly and cancel it at the end of the first month rather than be tied to a specific contract length.
