Hi, there was a Thread on this a while ago, but was more devoted to the 'extortionate' ticket prices, and besides that, I couldn't actually find it, and if I could, it would probably be too old to bump up again!

Comments about the ticket prices aside, is anyone doing this? It's with 37s, covering the freight branches of Dumfries & Galloway and SW Scotland, and a run to Stranraer and Larkhall, from Glasgow Central, on the 12th February, on Mk1 stock.

I'm doing it, mainly because I refuse to do the Stranraer line on a unit (or any of the scenic Scottish lines for that matter). The freight bits are just a nice added bonus! Not too chuffed with the price though.

Bad news for anyone expecting that, as it is now a simple run round the circle and back via Motherwell and Mossend
