Will Greater Anglia's not be disappearing with their new EMU fleet, replacing the Mk.3 sets on the Norwich runs?

No, the Intercity Flirts on the Norwich route will continue to offer full buffet counter service.

To be fair, 12 Mk1 coaches (20m each) are 240m long, whereas 9 Class 800 coaches (26m each) are 234m long - not a lot of difference!

Blimey 12 mk1s must have taken off from a standing start like mud off a stick. You'd probably want a full meal before you'd left that station.

I believe the London - Norwich Flirt's have a buffet specified, but the Stansted ones (and rest of the new fleet of course) do not.

As has been said by chubs and dk1, the 745/0s will have a buffet counter. Can confirm.

With EMT are the Rail Gourmet staff now wearing EMT uniforms?
Spot on journeyman, I enjoy a Bacon sarnie if cooked on a convector oven, not so when microwaved.
Yes, but we have the red waistcoats to differentiate slightly.

Catering staff confirming that as well as the buffet counter service the recently reintroduced & very successful standard trolley will continue with the IC Flirts on the Norwich route.

Here's some photos of the catering area I took at the mockups of the Stadler units:

See the German ICE restaurant car:

That's an ICE1, right? The arrangement looks cramped compared to the more modern ICE3s, and more like what we're used to here. The ICE3 set-up reminds me a bit of the lounge/snug area on the old 4-BEP units (sadly the counters had all been decommissioned by the time I used them regularly on SWT).

Not an ICE1 - they have the pronounced dome on the catering car, with “skylights”. Might be an ICE2 in the photo, though it doesn’t do them justice - they are certainly not cramped.
