If it's any use, we got Platform 15 when running from Buxton to Linlithgow

17 minutes is a pretty long time. The tour will be on the departure boards when you get in from Keighley, so you can look at them to find out.

It might not, depends on the Control Assistant doing the CIS

Every tour I've ever caught or seen at Leeds has been, so maybe it's just something they do there.
Probably, in Edinburgh it usually appears on the platform CIS only with [Final Destination] - Calling at [Final Destination Only] - Private Charter.

I know a few in Edinburgh IECC who programme the operator, calling points and final destination to go on the main CIS as well.

That's how it appears in Leeds usually too. It's the private charter bit that gives it away and stops normals boarding it, although you would imagine they would think twice before entering the 'rowdy coach'........

It shouldn't be the TPE platforms as there is something either in them or due in most of the time. Probably say one of the through roads between 11 and 12.

17 minutes will be easy in leeds. I can change in about 2 minutes there from p17 to p1. In safety boots with all my stuff on my back for a weekend at KWVR. You'll definitely get to see it unless your train is late.

Can you? My regular move is the 17:31 arrival from Morley on platform 17, to get the 17:36 Bradford train from 3B. I have to run like the clappers to do this, but then I suppose that at that time the place is crammed with normals getting in the way.

Yeah but (dont know how young you are but i know you have kids) im 19 so :) and it was at like half 8 on a saturday morning so as you say an awful lot easier. It was only a few times, then my morning train from chapeltown (summer when im at home) started arriving early and keighley train started leaving from p6 and it became easier. Must admit i havent done it for a while and i did used to almost collapse when i got on train. Missed it once too :/ bad day.

I'm more than twice your age (just!), but can still make it if the 17:31 arrival is on time. Biggest gripe is that 13 is the usual platform for the Huddersfield/Manchester via Brighouse service, but the 17:31 arrival/17:43 departure for no reason I can see use 17, adding about 90 seconds to the dash.
