It should be 57601 and a duff, normally 47854 but that’s not definite.

Also unlucky for Rich as 47826 has been reported by GWOT to have caught fire at Beattock

47826 is knackered. It caught fire going up to Beatock summit from Perth. Rumors suggested it was the brake blocks, but we think it as the traction motors which caught fire. We had to stop at the bottom of the summit, and 47854 pushed us to the top, and shunted us into the loop.
826 then really started smoking, with smoke coming from the doors and underneath. 4 fire engines, the police and two Network Rail vans appeared.
A block was put on the WCML until the source of the fire was found, and after 2 hr 30 mins 47854 took us towards Carlisle.

854 was low on fuel after doing Carnforth > Sheffield > Perth > Beatock on one tank, so was going to take us as far as it could. It got to Blackburn, and departed there, not sure how far it got after that, as I go off.

826 should still be in the small siding at Beatock loop unless something has been to rescue it. Unlikely though, as most WCRC locos are out on duties or un-operational It may be up to 854 to rescue it, but then what do they use for their Green Express tour to Sellafird tomorrow...?
