Some photos from yesterday's tour which ran from Manchester to Blackburn and back. Not my usual sort of photography, as you'll normally find me linesiding....but this time I was onboard instead. It was ashame about the 2 hour delay of the turning of the Standard 4 at Castleton East Junction, but the lateness of the tour made for some great running both away and back to Manchester to make up time, which ended in about 10 or 20 minutes late at Manchester upon arrival back from Blackburn, quite a good run I think. Congratulations to both WCRC crew Albert and Bill, and the Riley Support Crew who worked their socks off to make everything run as smoothly as possibly.
Not many photos, mainly the snaps were taken at the sheds at Bury in the dark....or at the stops at Castleton, Manchester and Blackburn, featuring both No. 45407 and 76079 on the railtour, and also "Green Arrow" and "Kinlet Hall" at the ELR

Hope to hear your thoughts about the photos, I personally think the night shots are the best, especially the Black and White one at the end of the day.
