Due off chester around 14.40 and up gresford bank and onto salop then south wales via CWL. I'll be on the bank!

Check wind direction for steam! I was 3 miles south of Carnforth thismorning & the wind was blowing off the sea (westerly) & consequently caused the exhaust from the 1st loco to obliterate the 2nd loco & 1st 2 carriges! (still looked blloody good though)!
