Hi,

Have planned a 24 hour (slightly more) Trent Barton bus challenge this Friday/Saturday morning. I aim to do every route for at least 5 minutes - but longer mostly!

7-8 routes I will have to complete the following Monday.

Attached is my plan. PLEASE comment: ANY suggestions, HELP, ADVICE!!!

VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Thanks so much

Harry

I'd say your change from the 23:20 pronto - RA at the Vicky centre is definitely not a 'guaranteed' connection.

Although I am struggling to find another connection? :s Besides, if the pronto driver is nice, at that time of night it will hopefully be empty! And the 2 bus bays are right next to each other. :)

Royal Derby Hosp, Main Entrance TO Royal Derby Hospital

For that above connection I have only left 2 minutes? How far is it? Is it even the same stop?!

Everytime I've been on a pronto it's been late! Honestly, i don't think that you'll do it

Hmm, you seem to be catching "groups of routes" rather than routes.

So, "the nines" rather than the 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 etc.

I thought it'd be a bit hard to do *all* the routes in one day, even for short sections.

Contentious... There are definitely folk on all the pronto nightowls, including that one. Yes the driver will be nice but it won't be empty. Come to think of it, it could well be full. 40 minutes journey time... in reality it may well quicker than that but equally the RA may decide to leave at 23:59. Either way it has the potential to be a tight/non-connection, so you might want a plan 'B'.

Also have you factored in meal/toilet breaks?

Neh...take food with me and stop off. E.g. got 1 hour in Ripley at 1 point, 30 mins in Derby plenty of times etc.!!!

I have been thinking about something like this, but for NCT. Do every NCT route in 24 hours or something of that order.
If you are in Clifton pop in for a cuppa :)
