Raef looks similar to Dimitar Berbatov

why is that woman always carrying a beret on her head!?!?

I still remember last year's series with Roy arguing with Tre, that was hellfire! [more hellfire than 37410 tbh]

What a bunch of pompous morons

Watched it on BBC iplayer yesterday, and I completely concur. It was very difficult to warm to any of them. It was pretty amusing though how they set themselves up as the best thing since sliced bread and couldn't identify fish, priced items lower than the wholesale price and lots of other basic mistakes.

A bunch of builders could have done better than this lot supposedly from a sales and legal background. Great on paper, crap in reality.

that whatever his name is who got fired is stupid.
he is a posh upper class snob who is camp and says stuff like "oh the worst GCSE grade I got was a B, and that is a total faliure and a scar on my life". WHAT SORT OF PERSON IS THAT SAD ABOUT THEIR EXAM RESULTS??? :-x

Down to 15 morons.

As you said, how can they work for a company when they can't sell fish? :? Fair enough, they were nervous, had little preparation and so on, but even given all that, their performance was just dire!

I had a feeling the girls would lose but was quite surprised to see her get the sack.

Come on, they had some fantastic ideas. What about a 24hr laundry helpline? That's what he would have paid the extra £4,800 for!

Seriously, though, the girl who got sacked shuold not have been. Despite some shortcomings, she was one of the best in the team, but in the boardroom it didn't come across that way. Sad, but true, is that the boardroom is as important as the task, but that's life.

Jenny should have been fired instead. Had to love how she tried to pass the buck on everything to Lucinda.

24hr laundry helpline? LOL!

I love The Apprentice!!

However, I think that Sir Alan Sugar got it TOTALLY wrong last Wednesday, and feel that Jenny should have got fired instead... Jenny is a right little bitch!!

I feel very sorry for Shazia, as she wasn't really the person who caused the most damage to the Girls' team on the Laundry task.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/newsarticle/cid/116.html

I 100% agree with what Shazia has said in her post-Apprentice review on the BBC website.

However, Alan Sugar is the £multimillion businessman and (correct me if I am wrong) you are not. I think he does know what he is doing, although others are free to disagree with him.

^I can only agree with voyagerdude. I think he was wrong in this case, mostly because he wasn't seeing the full picture I don't think. However, Shazia could and should have done better for herself in the boardroom; she shouldn't have let her guard down and that's mostly what cost her her place.

He saw a woman who failed to organise even the simplest of tasks and who couldn't defend herself; he acted correctly and fired her. What he didn't see was the fact that she was able to do both those things very well and was forced into corners by Jenny.

Well, it's his loss.

Apologies for bumping the thread, but seeing it's both the same subject, and just general discussion, i don't think it really matters IMO...

What are your thoughts about last night's episode?

All i can say is...

Thank goodness that ginger Jenny has gone!! :D:D:D

It was a funny moment when Alan fired her, as he just suddenly said "Your fired, Goodbye..... who's next?"

And what about Michael being confused about whether he's a Jew, or Christian....!

All my mates were talking about the slating that Margaret gave Edinburgh Uni. Supposedly Edinburgh students are fuming about it. :D

Well, Edinburgh deserve it! (They didn't give me an offer :x )

Seriously, though, anyone with half a peanut for a brain knows that Kosher is Jewish. The fact that a supposedly Jewish person couldn't fathom it says a lot and I personally would have fired Mr. Sophocles.

Well if that lot are the cream of the crop, God help us. The word clueless spring to mind. I'm glad the Ginger Whinger got fired, that was long overdue.

Seems like with one or two exceptions they are an arrogant, underhand, shifty bunch of self centred weasels. It spoke volumes when two of them tried to stitch up the other team, clearly not alive to the consequences and how they come across as they did it on camera.

I couldn't have put it better myself Metroland, that is a very good, straight to the point summary of what The Apprentice is like.

It still doesn't stop me from watching it though

That's why I watch it! It's good to laugh at self absorbed prats failing miserably.
