The 37 under sheets at Cardiff Canton?

Ok this 37 arrived a while back behind D444 (which itself is still there). what is happening with this loco? Who owns it, and what work is going to be done on it?

I believe its 37308, it was transferred from Eastleigh and moved there from Old Oak Common, its under restoration, i believe and im sure i'll be corrected if im wrong that its owned by Tony Middleton, who again i believe is an EWS driver.

37 has been in this position every time I have past it since the day it was brought, with D444 in different positions, although mainly taking up 50 031s bed, hope the progress being made on the 37 & 50 049 is going well

Last built 37, it was saved a while back

is there anything special about any preserved loco? does it matter?

Im guessing you know the man 37401, do you know how he intends to have it restored livery etc, and when, im guessing hes quite a busy fella in the preservation movement, has a lot to do with the 50 funds loco's to does'nt he?

Personnally i'd like to see it restored as (and correct me if im wrong) 37274 in mainline livery, its the livery it last carried before its transformation into BR blue.
If D6700 (the first built) is in its original livery i think 37308 should be in its last livery!

just a thought, just glad its safe
