Took stage 2 assessment on Friday. 4 of us got thru to MMI and I had mine at 2pm, finishing at 3.15. Obviously it was Friday Afternoon so wasn't expecting to hear any news over the weekend.

I haven't heard anything today ( Monday ), just wondered how long did most of you guys have to wait, and how did you hear ( post, email, call ?? )

I think it went alright. They had to prompt me on a few questions but I managed to answer everything. How do you think you done?

Exactly a week after I did the stage 2 assessments and MMI I got a letter to say I passed. As for the DM interview, that letter came FIVE weeks later.

Best of luck. You should hopefully hear something by the end of this week.

Medical is in 2 weeks time. I haven't been given a start date yet however.

I applied for both that were advertised at the time Blackfriars and Kings Cross I think. They did ask me if I had a preference but I said no I don't mind.

I probably didn't get the job then as I applied for the Kings cross vacancy. I thought I would of heard bk by now

Well, they said I would hear by the end of the week either way, they called to say I got it but they haven't called to say you have been unsuccessful - so maybe that means they actually haven't decided yet.

I think if they had already decided that you didn't get it they would have told you by now.

Who knows how their decision making process works.

Had email today to say I'd passed MMI and line manager interviews were being arranged, info to come. To say I'm pleased is an understatement.

Time to revise, but one thing I don't know, is, where do these interviews take place?

Line Manager interviews take place at Hertford House, 1 Cranwood Street, EC1V 9QS

Near Old Street station.

Hi all, Congratulations on all who have passed medicals and been offered positions, I fought it best I say something. I have completed all stages and completed my medical (yeah go me). I applied to join Bedford thameslink and was told I was successful middle of May but I am still awaiting a start date was told by HR that they may be recruiting in Bedford for July is anyone out there in the same boat as me and are still awaiting a start date for Bedford?

Hiya mate, I applied for Bedford, but in the interview they said Id be best placed in Hitchin as I live here. That was April, had medical early May, waited til last week to have the go ahead for 29th June, Contract signed and sent back today. I was told they were filling Cambridge and Kings cross for the June 1st course, I was offered both end of June or early July.
HR always seem really busy. Try and get a hold of Claire when ringing in, and remind them you've been told for July as I assume its very easy to be forgotten in all this process.

Hi thanks for that I have spoken with Claire several times in the process. I am due to move soon and will need to inform them of my new address so I'm going to wait until the 10th June as I should know what is going on with my move then quiz them again on the start date

dr1323 hello mate, I'm in the same situation as you. I have passed everything, medical was early May and I'm still waiting for a contract and a start date. I was also told the next Bedford course was in July but I have to give 28days notice so hoping that it may be sorted soon if I make it on to that one. I've emailed HR and they have always been quite speedy on replying but when I asked about any idea on start date I haven't heard anything for a week. Can anyone tell me, when you do hear is it an email or a pack that is posted?? Thanks in advance for any help

I know its hard, but patience is all you have at the moment

They are recruiting hard at the moment, so hopefully you will not have to wait for too long, and good luck all

I had my DM interview Thurs 4th June and was told the next day that had passed.I've got my medical booked in now for two weeks time and was told that would be probably be stationed at Bedford with the course starting September.

I live in Luton so was told I needed to be stationed at my closest depot which will be Bedford. I was also told September start but dates yet tbc

I live between Dunstable & Tring so either Kings X or Bedford would be OK but they said probably Bedford for September. Just want to get the Medical out the way and start date confirmed.
