I have my Thameslink DMI booked very soon. I have all the resources and have a fairly good understanding of what’s going to happen but does anyone have any advice or anything I should definitely be focusing on? TIA

Well done for getting your DMI booked I’m still waiting at the moment, keep me updated on how it goes. I see a lot of star method being chucked around so keep that in mind and just brush up on info about the company as I know there had been some changes recently. Best of luck

Thanks! Did it today, it went really well. Probably the most laid back interview ever. Got told a few hours later that I’d passed and they are very eager for me to start! Very very happy ☺️

Congratulations how long was the interview ? Did they let you know about coming course wait times ? What kind of stuff did they ask ?

Mine lasted about 45/50 mins. There was competency based questions like the MMI and a few about me and my knowledge of the company. Ended up being more like a conversation than an interview. Will heavily depend on how the dm at your depot wants to do it. They were very lovely and afterwards I got shown around etc. Got called later on with the outcome, no immediate courses but they get told every month what (if any) allocation each depot has for the next ones so as soon as there is one I’ll be offered it, been told that I’m at the top of the talent pool. So not sure but I’d imagine it’s any time from September for me.

Thanks! Yep still hasn’t sunk in really, they were super enthusiastic to have me on! Can’t wait to start whenever that is. Now to enjoy the quiet before the chaos lol
