Hi there, just looking for a bit of advice planning a trip.

How long would you allow to get from the Thameslink platform (arriving from Cambridge) to get to the East Midlands platforms at St Pancras?

I’m fairly light on my feet, and won’t be carrying anything.

Many thanks..

Five minutes - the slight wrankle being that you need to go to the distant escalators to get to the EMR platforms, negotiate two sets of barriers and arrive at the EMR platforms before they shut off access / take the outgoing train off the screens. I think you could possibly do it quicker but should leave longer to allow for delays.

The official connection time is 15 minutes. I've managed it in three minutes before but you have to be very, very quick and at the optimal set of doors of the Thameslink train to be first off and up the escalators, and to know exactly where you're going.

Thanks for your input. Given the tight connection time at St P I’ve decided to plan my trip cross country.
