Talking of which, I've downloaded one of your tube maps and will be using it in the office if I can find the room...

Those maps keep poping up everywhere including Drivers depot and the mess at Blackfriars! Which map is it by the way you downloaded?

I started my nights so managed to track 377505 on test last nights. Sadly this means 505 is the first of our Electrostars that I haven't seen on day one of service! But having 5 377/5 is a good thing. I expect a new 377/5 to be delivered to Selhurst later this week then.

So far the southbound timetable has nearly been completed tho I figured out some if the more interesting points last night as there is a FCC/SE cycle of diagrams. Basically theres 8 diagrams that follow into each other (601/602 > 614/615 > 603/604 > 610/611). I will at some point upload more of this but adding all the empty stock movements into the timetable is taking me abit longer than I thought! It might just be easiler to do a seperate ECS timetable especially as around Bedford as there's alot of shunting that doesn't fit well with a one directional timetable.

Times in brackets, ie (0000) means booked time. Time after this is what the unit actually ran if different from booked. Estimated time are show as 0000*

For some unknown reason the times given for 5Z73 conflict with 5Z72 so the unit was shwon leaving 54mins late when it left at 0214. Also note Stoat Nest & Purley times are booked as the same time.

Courtesy of Mack the BO6xx SX diagrams (May 18 - Oct 09) are now available. Obviously FCC don't have enough Electrostars to fill all 15 at the moment so I'd be intrigued as to which of those diagrams the 319s were allocated to yesterday and today.

Its been stated that it was for the 378015 move but was capped last min. I've attached the complete 377 diagram timetable. Sorry for the lateness of me uploading this. Mental week!

loco was still on the south end with the barriers on the north, it was parked between cricklewood box and the running line.

377505 has left Selhurst for Bedford. The unit left Selhurst at 12:35 and was due to arrive at 15:03. It passed me at City Thameslink at 13:19 where I managed to get a brief video of it leaving.

So FCC have 6 377/5 now. Seems like we should expect 2 377/2 to return tomorrow night. Seems Southern want their 377/2 back asap.

Just a side note that the last 377/5 delivery date has sliped back to December. Im not sure what the hold up is this time but seems we are waiting the 7th unit now.

I'd heard that there was a limit yesterday but not how many. Just 10 377's? Er didn't Network Rail work out that FCC were getting 23 377's and do the work before hand?

Sounds like they should just about be able to cope, with careful timetabling. 23 trains means say 20 in service, of which half will be south of the river.

But surely once they are all delivered, then they can have most of them in service, as couldnt 319s be kept on 'standby'

Also the unit is working alone.

As for the MML 10 or less 377's, this doers explain why they tend to work in bunches. Few services will be 377 then followed by a few 319s. This way they limit the amount of 377s on the MML. Will be interesting to see what happens when all 23 are in service.

But if Bombarbier wins the Thameslink order looks like NR is gonna have to spent some time improving the power supply. Then again isn't the power supply supposed to be upgraded for the TLP anyway?

I meant to take more notice but I can tell you it was crammed to the seams. Some of the passengers looked like those Garfields that were popular stuck on the inside of car windows a few years ago!

377508 was on diagram 614. It should have been paired with another unit on 615. During the day it wasn't. At 17:58 it was running as a 4 car (vice 8 car) service to Ashford International. Those people wouldn't have been happy as its the only service from there to Ashford. Hence its so packed.

What I don't get is when you have 277213/504 on the first Gillingham service and 377206/501 on the second Gillingham why not run one of them as a 4 car and make the Ashford an 8 car.

Forgot to add that 377505 was running as diagram BO605 yesterday. Tho in the morning 319448 was doing that diagram.

No diagram 615 was not filled. Bare in mind there's 15 377 diagrams at the moment with 6 377/5 and 6 377/2 (well 5 now). They can never fill all the them all and do all the 319 diagrams with only three spare trains, so some diagrams have not been filled.

could have been the unit bottoming out, caused by going over a bumpy bit of track.

Interesting, Ive heard this before from customers getting off a southbound train. I thought it might have been Farringdon and changeover. I'll see if anyone else has reported this.

Surprised no-ones picked up the fault on 501 yet It seems the doors on it like auto open. I thought it was a first day in service bug but its still happening when I went on it the other week.

The units need more run in time to be honest but needs must. Maybe once we get a fleet maybe some of the minor issues will be fixed.

The 313s, 365s and 317s on FCC do it, I'm sure the 321s do it as well - which reminds me that I've still got a run out on a 321 to do then I've travelled on all the FCC stock.
