I agree on the comments about short platforms - Baldock is really bad for this. It's not really mentioned in advance during the journey, but, because it's only 3 minutes from Letchworth, and because the warning isn't immediate on departure, you don't get the "doors will not open" signs until you're practically pulling into the platform (and often no announcement). The number of times I've had to tell people to hurry forwards!

Two weeks ago I went on Thameslink to West Hampstead (because why not) and this was the first time on TL I’ve seen the PIS go absolutely bonkers.

For starters, apparently all the doors in all the carriages wouldn’t open. But I took the first picture so that it would show the red X alongside the open doors.
What’s more, this train was an 8-car (as seen by the carriage number seen in the second picture, 411029, corresponding to 700029) yet the train thought it was a 12 car in picture 3!

As I said, the trains showing you at the wrong end (screen in reverse) and doors throughout the train sometimes showing as locked out, when they will go on to work fine is part of a fix rolling out.
