Thameslink class 319 at Hampstead Heath.

I saw two Thameslink class 319 trains (one unit in purple First Capital Connect livery and one unit in white Thameslink livery) passing through Hampstead Heath going Eastbound at about 23:10 yesterday. Does anyone know what these were doing and where they were going to and from? Is it normal to see 319s on this route?

Indeed, the units were cruising through Hampstead Heath on their way to Hornsey, having come from Cricklewood.
