The Thameslink route via Catford is closed for engineering works, and the usual diversionary route via Herne Hill is also closed due to the same works. Thameslink has less flexibility to move stock to/from their depots in North London/elsewhere on the network. I've noticed that one ECS movement is diverted via the SEML which TL trains don't usually run on even in disruption/diversion.

These stock movements are registered not under TL, but under PX - europhoenix (anyone know why?). Also as no TL driver sign the route via Grove Park (is this true?) would they need a route instructor from Southeastern to run these movements - up until London Bridge plats of course. These movements are scheduled for everyday of the Herne Hill blockade.
One would've assumed there's no need to move any stock, and there's enough stabling space at Bellingham, Orpington sidings and Sevenoaks gusset sidings. In addition to the ability to berth trains at the aforementioned stations. On weekdays the first south/eastbound service from Blackfriars usually originates from Cricklewood depot, but not on weekends. Why are these necessary? One might have also assumed there would be a surplus of stock at Bellingham/Orpington/Sevenoaks as less trains are necessary to run the reduced service.
