Thalys Rolling stock, time for replacement?

both TGV models used by Thalys are from 1996/1997 so youngest set is already 20 years old at this point so with there planned Merger with Eurostar is it high time to look into some new rolling stock?
considering the ownership (70% SNCF) it would prob be Alstom Avelia Horizon TGV units but i dont know if Thaly/Greenspeed would go for Duplex units of go for a Avelia Liberty kind of set
who knows if they did they could order more 16 car Velaro D's to harmonise the fleet with eurostar's fleet

I think the current stock could easily go another ten years. I'm sure Thalys will have an idea how long it expects it's stock to last before it needs replacement, if it's anything like the TGV Sud-Est sets it could be quite a bit more than 10 years

The Thalys sets had a refurb in 2016 so I presume the sets are still in a good condition
