TfW Trainee Conductor

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

I recently applied for TC at TfW, via two roles. Heard nothing for a few months, but no rejection letter so no news better than bad news.

Recently I was given the account for a "mini SCAAT" test and an email asking me if I could write back to them regarding a potential interview date and a course start 28th July. This email was received with only 9 days to go and currently already working in the rail industry, I think you know how hard it can be to get leave at such short notice, especially in late spring and summer.

I sat the SCAAT test, and managed to secure the day off. However since I have heard nothing from TfW. Does anyone know if this is really a rejection or if something is happening at TfW HQ?

Hi,

I am a little further down the line and I applied in February and did the mini SCAAT in April.....

My online portal has not changed status and just this week I have now had a request to attend SCAAT verification next week.

I’d not read too much into it being a delayed response or rejection as I believe they are manic busy with their recruitment and seem to be a bit behind
