The fact it's 2023 is slightly freaking me out! :D

If I was further west I'd have been happy to car share along the way  So glad to have gotten all the paperwork and refrencing out of the way. It was a lot to complete. I stupidly tried to get it all done in one day rather than spreading it out. Have you ordered your uniform yet?
No worries mate, train will be more cost efficient anyway, I’m hoping to have the option to stay up there too yeah I agree, glad it’s all done, have you heard anything back to say all checks have been completed? Yeah ordered the uniform and uploaded a photo for the travel pass.

Hi everyone,

How long did it take for TfW to get back to you after an interview, if you were successful? I've heard some only in as little as two days, others on an internal basis in a week or a little more. Many thanks

Hi mate, I was informed via email around two weeks after my interview. Said I was successful and talent pool details. Depends I think how quickly interviewers return the paperwork to the recruitment people which may explain why timescales differ. Good luck!

I had an email almost 3 weeks later to say I was successful and placed in a talent pool, I was in the talent pool for around 9 months then before receiving a further email about a potential start date. Hope this helps :)

I had an email to say two employers didn't respond, after chasing they emailed me back saying thank you as they've responded. Haven't heard anything else so presume all's okay. I've had an appointment with TfW to do my right to work docs in st Patrick's house. All's done now, though as far as I'm aware.

Hi, no problem. Yes, I passed the medical, and currently going through the same process as yourself. All paperwork has been completed, so just waiting to hear what’s next. I havnt spoken to anyone from the recruitment team on the phone, all via email. I sent them an email enquiring about accommodation/travel during the training, and they said someone would be in touch nearer to the date. :D Yeah, I will see you on the induction hopefully. Really looking forward to it, going into a new year with a new challenge.
Congratulations on passing your medical. Well done mate! Fantastic news! Christmas come early for you eh. Looking forward to seeing you on Induction. Im doing majority of my training in City House in Chester but might see others on inductions from other areas. Trust you are looking forward to january.

That’s great, I haven’t heard anything either so assuming all good. I had my right to work check a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we will get more news on the training details shortly. See you on the induction mate :D

Hiya Have you had your interview yet? It took me 5 days to hear back after a bank holiday weekend. I sent a courtesy email on the Tuesday to say thank you for interviewing me and answering my questions. I really enjoyed the experience to talking to you about the role and Im remain very much keen and interested to start the role. I had an email back the next day to say I was successful and would be placed in the talent pool.

Id say be proactive to chase up and show you are keen. Try sending a chaser email for status update. use an existing email you have received from them before to reply back to it so they have the history of who you are and where they are up to with you.

Hi All,

I received a call on Friday with a Janurary Medical, March course date. I've hat nothing in writing at all to confirm this yet though?

Is there usually a delay in receiving an e-mail or letter or should I chase up do you think?

Don't want to be annoying, just really keen to start :).

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

as discussed in dms, likely with festive period and RM striks you may not hear back until Jan 4 or later if not by the end of the week :D. It's frustrating having to wait, hopefully it's soon mate. It took me a couple days to a week to get my confirmation. Try giving them an email and see if they reply :)
