TFW Trainee Conductor / Guards

Hello

Just wondering if anyone knows the next time TFW will be opening up recruitment for Trainee Conductors. I know previously that recruitment for drivers was by an agency is this the same for conductors or do Tfw do their own recruitment.

Also can anyone advise what the assessment stages consist of from anyone who has recently been through it.

TFW now do all their own recruitment.

They recently had TM jobs at Machynlleth.
However they are still drawing on candidates from a massive widespread recruitment from 2023-early 2025. This got blase to the point that 'successful' candidates were placed in talent pools and left so long that their offers expired.

It’s impossible to predict when any particular TOC is next going to recruit to any particular role. We don’t typically allow for new threads or posts asking such questions.
