Tfw talent pool

Can someone please shed some light on the TFW talent pool?
I've recently passed the interview for a trainee conductor role and am awaiting to complete the verification of the SCAAT assessment when it is safe to do so. If successful I will then be placed in to the talent pool for up to 24months. Once in the pool would that be a case of waiting for a vacancy to become available? Am I then guaranteed a position or is there more to the recruitment process? Any information would be appreciated

If uv passed your assesments and interview, once a training course is allocated they will see what depots need allocating when your invited for a medical thats pretty much it..but you still need to pass that

Good job getting this far! I would also advise that despite being in a talent pool you can be forgotten about so it's always worth sending off a polite notice every so often to ask of any updates. Also keep an eye on the new Cardiff positions even if you do get put in a talent pool. I have mentioned before that when it was ATW I was put into a pool and I had to email them to remind them they had me waiting when they did a new recruitment drive. If I hadn't I probably wouldn't of started!

Sadly these days being in a talent pool is no guarantee of a job (unless they have specifically told you something different).
