TfW Taffs Well Depot

TfW has announced that demolition work is to start on the site of their new Taffs Well depot, north of Cardiff 'during July'.

In the news release the plan is described thus;

The modern depot will maintain brand new Metro vehicles which are due to enter service from 2022. The site will also include a new Integrated Control Centre which will manage the operation of services on the Metro lines.

They appear to be cramming a lot onto what's a consticted site.

Looks quite similar to Metrolink’s Old Trafford depot.
