Are 1st class tickets for these services pre-bookable or do you have to upgrade a on the day on board.
I've just look at TFW website but can't get it to offer me 1st class tickets.
I'm trying to plan Shrewsbury to Manchester 10:53 any Wed, Thurs or Friday in June.

if I remember correctly then upgrading onboard is £26, however it may have changed since February. best thing to do is ask once you're onboard. be careful if you purchase an advance first class ticket as there's a chance that you may end up with a 15x or 197 instead

The only one which get’s absolutely nothing is V31 from Crewe in the morning.
