TFW Interview - G3 Customer Service Supervisor

I recently had an interview with Transport For Wales for G3 Customer Service Supervisor which I think is replacing the Duty Manager position.

One of the last questions in the interview they asked if I would be interested in a G2 - Customer Service Advisor position.

Whilst I would hope I am successful with my application for the supervisor position does anyone know if TFW have a history of offering a position that you did not apply for... in this instance, offer a Customer service advisor position if they thought you didn't have the experience for the supervisor position.

Duty Managers are G4, I assume this is for Cardiff, which is the only station that has G3 Supervisors
