I haven't used one of these since COVID, (and then I had to get a refund, as the service was a substituted Class 175).
1. Can this be bought and used in conjunction with Split Tickets that extend beyond the start and finish of the TFW service, or is it valid only with a point to point ticket for stations between Manchester and Cardiff?
2. Is it sold on board to passengers who already hold standard class tickets, or must it be purchased before boarding?
3. How familiar are booking office staff likely to be with this ticket at stations away from the Manchester - Cardiff route?) I last purchased one at Shrewsbury)
