Only 4/5 sets out today, 67022+HD04 didn't make it onto diagram 3 (1W13/1V39/1W96).

1W13 does not seem to have been having a good time of it this week.

1V62 for me today. Currently set HD02. Either I renew my relationship with HD02, or I get the first-class refund. Still plenty of time for things to change.

DSD is the Driver Safety Device. Basically if pressure is taken off the pedal in the cab for an amount of time it will stop the train.

I know people aren't psychic but are there any planned changes to the loco hauled diagrams this Saturday/next Monday?

I was thinking about going from Manchester or Crewe to Newport on Saturday morning and back Monday afternoon but specifically on the loco hauled ones so I can sample the Restaurant services.

Was always the plan anyway for a loco swap.
Same diagram change is planned for tomorrow afternoon too.

Maybe on for a refund on my first class ticket. Second time the train has stopped already and not far outside Piccadilly. Only made it to the end of Platform 10 and now only just past Ardwick junction.

Yes. Driver just walked past on the track that Pendolino was on. Apparently going down to the 67 to try and restart it. Raining as well so feel a bit for all that unnecessary length for the loco and DVT as well as the 5 carriages.

I guess the optimistic outcome is that he gets the engine started then needs to walk all the way back to the front of the DVT.

18:55 has just done exactly that. Not much going past Southbound though.
