TfW Class 67+Mk4 sets: trip planning/experiences, diagram updates etc

A fairly poor day considering how positively it started.

Lots of swapping around during the day:
HD01 works 1W96 to Holyhead
HD02 taken out at Crewe due to DVT issues
HD04 to work 16:49 Cardiff to Manchester for loco swap
HD05 swapped to 10:53 Cardiff to Manchester and rest of diagram.
HD06 to enter service on 17:30 Crewe to Manchester/18:30 Manchester to Cardiff.

Tomorrow sees HD01 out of Holyhead, 67025+HD03 (V33) and 67013+HD04 (V31) working out of Crewe with 67017+HD06 (W11) and 67020+HD07 (W13) working out of Canton.

67015 Is also planned to head light engine Crewe to Canton in the morning.

There was a points failure within ATC which prevented it leaving any earlier, but it does appear to have come into further trouble now. Will cause issues as HD02 & HD03 already in Crewe with two more on route ex W63 & W65.

HD03 has also failed on shed, HD04 will now work the V33 diagram and HD05 on V31 to get it back to Crewe with its exam delayed a day.

5 Sets Will head to ATC but 3 DMUs will stable at the station vice ATC.

Today at Crewe depot (10/4/25):

67010 connected to HD02 (brake issues)

67017 connected to HD06 (went into service from 5pm onwards)

67025 connected to HD03

67013 light engine.

Thanks I’ve changed it over on my post. Swap not been picked up on the internal systems so still showed HD03 from last night

HD05 needs to finish in Crewe for an exam over the weekend. Not too sure why it went out on the second crewe departure than the first than was planned.

There will be more swaps through the day either swapping one of the sets out of Crewe or not having HD04 finish back there to avoid overloading it again.

This afternoon sees HD01 swap to 14:53 from Cardiff, with 67025+HD03 planned to enter service at 15:30 on W59 from Crewe to Manchester with a 197 covering Cardiff to Crewe, should be 67025s first passenger work for a few months.

Tomorrow should then see 67008+HD01 and 67025+HD03 working out of Canton, 67013+HD04 and 67017+HD06 (if its fixed) out of Crewe.

Sunday is planned for HD03 working from Canton and HD04 from Crewe.

HD04 is on B exam from Monday if I'm correct?

It's fairly imminent but it's got a couple of days slack at the moment so it can cover for HD02 and HD05 which are both out of traffic with DVT brake issues and awaiting tyre turning respectively.
