TPWS fault.
67015+HD03 1V31 etcWhat's the plan pencilled in currently for tomorrow?
Thanks
That will have some changes now as HD07 has had a reoccurrence of its TPWS issues at Canton so will stay there, it now also can't have its loco swap at Crewe overnight.67015+HD03 1V31 etc
67029+HD04 1V91 etc
67016+HD05 1W11 etc
67017+HD06 1W13 etc
67010+HD07 1V33 etc
Saturday should then see 67022+HD03 and 67010+HD07 on Crewe starts, 67029+HD04 and 67016+HD05 on the Cantons, HD05 finishes at Crewe on Saturday night and stops for a couple of days for exam.
How rude...That will have some changes now as HD07 has had a reoccurrence of its TPWS issues at Canton so will stay there, it now also can't have its loco swap at Crewe overnight.
As a result, 1V62 with HD06 will finish at Crewe and head to ATC.
Curious that Chester-based crew are not involved, despite the trains reversing there and often being where a substitute unit is provided during disruption.
No point in Chester signing it as things stand - the Holyhead - Chester and return legs of the Holyhead services pretty much have to use Holyhead based crews (unless you want to pay for taxis or hotels), given the timings of the services. They could work those services between Chester and Shrewsbury, but it's already well covered by 3 guards and 2 drivers depots for 2 trains a day. A Crewe based crew can get to Chester in 20 minutes in a train or 50 in a taxi if required, and there are drivers at Crewe on standby throughout the day ready to make ad-hoc moves of 67s if required.Yes neither Chester drivers nor TMs sign the Mk4s however all sign 197s though, so when a sub does happen spares can be used from all over of course.
As the loco didn't swap off it's due an exam so couldn't go out this morning. Will 1W96 have a set subbed in/or is Set 6's issue resolvable or will that diagram stay with 197120 (Edit or another 197 I suppose) as currently showing?
Thanks
@sd0733

Now down for 67015+HD03 on w96 tonight. Thanks for that, guess I'll keep everything crossed for tonight!
Cheers, hopefully a nice dinner tonight then! Now down for 67015+HD03 on w96 tonight.
A few changes today now.
HD06 has been stood down at Canton after arriving earlier, it's necessary to get HD07 out to get 67014 back to Crewe ETD so 06 will stop and provide the necessary parts to enable HD07 to run 1W63 later, 06 will be restored overnight.
When HD07 arrives into Crewe, 67014 will be replaced by 67010 for tomorrow. 67020 will then take 014 to the ETD in the morning.
Tomorrow should now have HD04+67029 and HD07+67010 starting out of Crewe with 67016+HD05 and 67017+HD06 planned out of Canton.
Sunday should see the return of HD02+67022 (loco now staying on that set following todays changes) on the Crewe diagram and 67010+HD07 working out of Canton.
Yes, I can see now 197121 from Cardiff on 1W61 to Manchester and back on 1V62.A few changes today now.
