Yes that’s as I thoughtI had 67014 on the 1430 Manchester - Cardiff today, if that's any help.
67012 was on 1649 Cardiff - Manchester.
RTT showing as 67008 + 67010 on W5767008 & Set 5
Have stepped up to 1W57
In place of 67010 & Set 1
1W19 currently unallocated
ThanksNot too sure what the issue is with 67010+HD01 but it's now not expected out all weekend.
67025 is also having sanding issues so is planned to be replaced on HD04 by 67013 before it goes back out on the 16:49 Cardiff to Manchester. That's only planned on the set for a day and is then scheduled to be replaced by 67029 ready for service on the Crewe-Crewe Diagram on Sunday with 67013 moving to HD06.
The weekend looks pretty terrible with effectively only HD04 and HD05 available for traffic, as HD07 will be in Holyhead so neither of the Cardiff start diagrams are expected to run tomorrow.
Current situation is:
HD01 with 67010 unknown fault on Canton
HD02 no loco at Crewe ETD for wheelset repairs and storage pending space at Crewe ATC
HD03 with 67012 light exam at Crewe ETD
HD04 with 67013 (029 from Sunday) In service
HD05 with 67008 in service
HD06 with 67029 (013 from Sunday) heavy exam at Crewe ATC
HD07 with 67014 in service.
To make things even worse 67013 failed prior to departure with a faulty compressor.1W23 now 197104 !
It's certainly a real downturn after a pretty good few months.Only 67008 + HD05 showing for tomorrow, unless they can swap HD04 back in to get the loco swap done tomorrow, it may not be a good weekend at all! 1 set out? Yikes!
HD05 seemingly swapping diagrams a bit to get it to Crewe tonight, assuming the Canton start tomorrow may not run then. Crewe diagram then HD05It's certainly a real downturn after a pretty good few months.
Having 2 locos with faults unable to go out with the same set in a day is a real low! It's also happened at the worst time, with unusually these days, 3 out of use either on or waiting for exams, a situation which hasn't happened since the 5 car programme.
Hopefully it's possible to get HD04 with a loco on to Crewe on something tomorrow for service on Sunday and it's planned loco swap Saturday night. If not the Sunday diagram out of Crewe won't be covered either.
1W59 & 1V54, 1W61 & 1V62HD05 seemingly swapping diagrams a bit to get it to Crewe tonight, assuming the Canton start tomorrow may not run then. Crewe diagram then HD05
Yes that's correct. No Cardiff diagram and 67029+HD05 now planned on the Crewe with the loco swap overnight.HD05 seemingly swapping diagrams a bit to get it to Crewe tonight, assuming the Canton start tomorrow may not run then. Crewe diagram then HD05
Yes that's correct. No Cardiff diagram and 67029+HD05 now planned on the Crewe with the loco swap overnight.
Manchester diagramHD05 is currently limping back to Crewe on 1W65 and will be terminating their vice Piccadilly with a fault. Though not sure if it’s with the Loco or set, if it’s the former then should still be fine for tomorrow after the Loco swap
Hopefully things will pick up by then. 3 sets are planned out tomorrow and should be back to 4 once HD03 emerges from exam on Tuesday or Wednesday Things can't get any worse anyway!will the situation be better by next week? I was looking at going to Cardiff.
Whole fleet has been stood down today for extra checks to the brake pads.Manchester diagram
Showing as 2 x 197s tomorrow
ThanksWhole fleet has been stood down today for extra checks to the brake pads.
Tomorrow should see 67010+HD01 out of Cardiff, 67014+HD07 out of Holyhead and 67029+HD06 on the First Manchester departure, the 04:54 from Crewe diagram is expected to be a unit in its entirety, likely to be the same 3 sets out Tuesday with those 3 diagrams covered unless anything else can be put out. Then 67012+HD03 should return on Wednesday bringing it back to 4 sets.
I take it everything is still stood down again today V91 started at ChesterWhole fleet has been stood down today for extra checks to the brake pads.

Not officially no, it just appears HD01 and HD05 still aren't working so couldn't be put out whereas HD07 at Holyhead was train crew related and should be out as normal.I take it everything is still stood down again today V91 started at Chester
