quick question for any Transport for Wales /Advanti drivers ----
does transport for wales /Advanti allow drivers from other companies cab access for the purpose of route learning ?

Normally at TFW anyway - yes. Provided they have the correct documentation, the driver is authorised to allow route learners with them and is happy to do so.

At present that has been stopped however due to Covid 19.

I've route learned with both TOCs and never had a problem. However you do need a TOC specific cab pass.
