Hopefully correct forum

IIRC TfL had trumpets aplenty blowing that all their staions would have staff avaible while services ran.

My gripe concerne Hayes and Hartlington Ex GWR now TfL
There is a car park for th station adjacent to P1 and to access it in GWR days ans early TfL you exited the station and descended steps to it
A year or so ago the steps were closed off, considered unsafe ,and the only way to the sar park was to walk to Nestles Avenue and then alon it turning left
along the entrance road to it. For people not familiar with the area. which i poorly lit not the best way for single girls and the infirm. parm users taking anything from 10-15mins
Then TfL woke up and installed an entrance at the West end of P1 ( suitably fenced off) and via the lift
so now you walk to the west end of car park along the 'overbridge'
to the ticket office, get the gate person to let you out so you can check in. The reverse applies when leaving.

The bad news is that this is only available until 21.00 and then you need to see a member of staff as it is gated off. no doubt they will release the gatelline to let you out
Now i am recovering from a knee op and the other week arrived at 23.00 on the las Elizabeth train to Heathrow only to find the staion bereft of any visible staff. This entailed the long trek and to say i was pi**ed off was an understement.
which makes the tag line 'Every journey matters' rather lame
Surely it is not beyond thebrains of someone in Tfl to get a couple of gates at the lift at P1 so it negates this walk. espwcially as during the day they have a member of staff jsust standing at the P1 lift entrance doing, bugger all but just watching people going it and out. pay thenm a bit of o/t to be on duty unrtil the last train arrives and leaves It would also stop the stupid idea of doing a ealk from p1 to ticket office and retuen to get to the car park
Any way rany over. Any TfL workers on here who could suggest the brst pesron to write rto to get someting done?
