used a card that did no belong to me - I received for 48 alleged offences. The name on the summons is incorrect, and I have already contacted TfL to correct this, but they did not respond and still issued the summons with the wrong name. I only made about 7 to 8 journeys during the time in question, so I do not accept responsibility for the other charges. I am willing to attend court to explain the situation honestly and provide any necessary evidence. I dont know what to do > Do i write again? attend court under that name and explain myself again? do nothing?
write a letter for a warning i dont know
i have contacted several solicitors - which have all given me completely little to no reassurance - best advice given ? solictor write a letter but this is costing alot of money - but what difference would be if tfl are unlikey to settle out of court - cant i get a warning

Hi. Could you show us the paperwork you've had please? Make sure you obscure your name, address and any reference number.

Speed is important here, as you state a summons has already been issued. Please upload relevant paperwork as quickly as possible, in oder for members to assist you.

When you say the name is wrong, what do you mean? Is it completely wrong, or just a minor misspelling?

Do either of the names belong to the person whose card you used? But do you agree it was you that used the card?

This will be a lot easier for us if you upload a suitably redacted copy of your summons. TfL often use requisitions (a postal summons essentially) which includes a detailed explanation of what you are charged with and a section to ask for other offences to be taken into account. If this is the case here we can advise on a suitable response.

The misspelled / incorrect name would seem to be a side-issue unless you are claiming they have the wrong person. If you accept you were the one who was stopped for an incident of fare evasion that resulted in this prosecution then simply update the court with your correct name.
