I travelled on the Underground from Kings Cross to Heathrow on Friday 28/7/17 at about 1.00 pm. I used my contactless card, TfL have taken £3.10. Returned on Saturday 12/8 and travelled in the opposite direction at about 8.00 pm. TfL have taken two payments of £3.10 for this journey. Have I been over or under charged, if over how do I get my £3.10 back?

Did you only touch once at Heathrow and once at King's Cross? I guess you took a direct train? Did you use the same card?

For Kings Cross - Heathrow £3.10 is the correct fare for a single off peak journey using contactless or an Oyster card. An Off Peak journey is a journey that start any time other then Monday to Friday from 0630 to 0930 and from 1600 to 1900. Starting at these times it will be £5.10. £6.00 is the cash fare regardless of start time.

Have you registered the card to a TfL online account? If not, do so. You can then check what TfL reckon they've charged. Each journey should be £3.10. You can also use the site to query either transaction.
