Would be interesting to know how many people from this campaign actually got a job out of it.

West London depots. But the issue is the lack of trainers. If there are there are more trainers, alot more people would start. That's my perspective

It's so frustrating. I'm checking my emails everyday as the recruitment team made it sound like I was getting offered a place. 4 months later think I need to give up hope.

Hi guys,

I have a quick question.

If you decline an offer, do you then go to the back of the list? Or do you stay at the front until another location becomes available?

Join rmt and take it from there
Hi, do you think RMT would be able to help in that respect? I was in a similar situation. I went to an interview at LUL, was told not successful despite it being very positive (later discovered that it was likely that an unqualified/inexperienced internal candidate got the role), but I was contacted after and was told another manager had the same role for a different area and was keen to speak to me. The recruitment team made it sound like there was a job there ready to go. Every week the manager said he was still waiting for approval, this was a year ago. Obviously I've given up at this point.

Hi mate

Do you know what the shifts and hours are for example 4on4off or days Monday to Friday or nights only.

When I had an interview the manager only discussed the shifts for the project work which is Monday to Thursday days and he didn't really discuss any other shifts.

I'm still waiting for training dates btw, HR just keep saying there are no spaces for training at the moment.

Hi mate I think if you are doing Monday to Thursday only, are you being placed at Stonebridge or Neasden? Look below this is last years I have a feeling it might be this. DISCLAIMER I COULD BE WRONG DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!

Thank you
Yes it was for stonebridge park.

But now I've been waiting so long I'll probably just take anything that comes up in West London.

Hi mate,
Have you managed to do a medical yet?
They haven't mentioned training dates to me yet.

I’ve been in the talent pool for just over two years and I’ve now been giving a conditional offer at Neasden with a start date on heavy overhaul want to try get some information on the actual job someone who’s actually working there but very hard to find anyone

Happened to me offered Stonebridge and Neasden and got cancelled. Then got offered after raised issue with rmt saying my offer got withdrawn. I waited 3 years for an offer

Yeah hopefully doesn’t get cancelled just waiting on my medical date, so are you employed now then? If so are you on heavy overhaul?

Apparently the east London waits are ridiculous
That's true. That's why I went west. Trust take any offer the transfer later.

It’s really hard to find any information on what the jobs actually like and to get a insite, how you finding it so far?
I'm someone who has no experience in trains at all. I'm finding it fine as the team is amazing. But depends on what depot you have. I have all depots are food in general.

Heavy overhaul- motor change wheel change. That's what I've done so far

That’s good to hear it’s nice to get some sort of insite seems like your doing some interesting jobs, it was a long time since having the interview so good to hear from someone who’s actually started
